Removable partial dentures have been found to be one of the most affordable ways to replace your missing teeth and restore your smile.
The Process for Removable Partial Dentures
To begin the process, your doctor will first determine how healthy your teeth and gums are. This may result in the extractions of certain teeth that are either decayed or that will impair the partial denture. Once your mouth has been examined, all necessary teeth have been extracted, and you have healed, then your dentist will take an impression of your mouth. Your dentist will then use a wax try-in to see if there are any fitting issues that need to be corrected. Once that is complete, the impression will be sent to a dental lab where they will fabricate your partial denture. The final step is to place your new removable partial dentures and enjoy your new smile!
